Got a sausage breakfast sandwich. I like how they cut the sausage into smaller pieces. The burrito wasn't greasy which is good, but it was a bit dry. The red sauce that came with it was good. It's a good no frills burrito.

Its 102F deg outside and they have no a/c. Good food, good price, pleasant helpful service. Very informal, you order at the counter. Interior is Very basic, but clean and in good order. Not a place for special occasions due to a very modest setting, but if you live nearby or happen to be in the neighborhood and want basic good Mexican food on plastic dishes (plates are not heated, it is a quick-serve restaurant), you should try El Gran Patron . Did I mention there is no a/c and no big ceiling fan or any type of air circulation? I will avoid coming again on a warm/hot day. A swamp cooler would be an economical upgrade.

This place is such a hole in the wall, would honestly come back. This place been around for a while but I never know this place exist because it's so hidden. The service is a bit slow when prepping the food, but their tacos are to die for. I would come back any day for tacos! Parking lot is shared with other shops but not too busy! The menu is consistent and so is their food! Would come back again! Don't let the small shop and sketchy look deceive you! Tried various type of food and so far none that disappoints!

Always a pleasure to eat here. Great food and great service. I had cocido today and it was delicious. Such a satisfying and filling meal. Place is clean and prices are reasonable.

Today I came to visit my spot for menudo and the salsa was so tasty. Very personable service and as always the best Cocido. It's a small place but the food is fresh and hot.

Came here for a family lunch and we will definitely be back! Hearty portions. The chapo specials have a few type of meats they kind of compete with each-other and I would skip the chicken in that specific combination. The breakfast burrito was a HIT. Next time I want to try it with hash brown/refried beans. Everything else was good , will be back for sure . Service was good, not a Michelin star Joint but the price is right and it's definitely a neighborhood joint. Worker was like " you've never been here before so they definitely have their clientele" murals on the walls average Mexican spot vibes.

So good we came back twice in one day!!! We brought friends the 2nd time!! The tacos are really really good!! The carnitas is very fresh and not oily or greasy. The cabeza is very soft and flavorful. The asada is not greasy and freshly made. The green salsa goes perfectly with the tacos. $2 each ... extremely fair price!! The huaraches were big and packed with toppings. Our friend said the menudo was good and would order again
